About This Test

The Big Five, or OCEAN model, is the most empirically validated framework in personality psychology: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. Unlike typologies that sort people into a handful of fixed boxes, real personality science treats these as five continuous spectrums that everyone carries some measure of.

This test simplifies that into something you can actually finish: fifteen forced-choice questions, each one pulling you toward the trait that best explains how you'd really respond. The result is the trait that showed up most across your answers, plus a note on whichever trait showed up second most, since most people are rarely just one thing.

Want the full picture first? Read the complete breakdown of all five traits, high and low, on the Big Five Personality Traits page before or after you take the test.
